ENQUIRE

Start with the box.

Whether you have one treasured photograph, a fragile family album, a box of unsorted prints, or a collection inherited from someone you love, we would be happy to help you understand what is possible.

You do not need to have everything organised. You do not need to know exactly what you want. You do not need to have all the answers.

Just tell us what you have, and we’ll guide you from there.

WHAT TO TELL US

A few details are enough to start.

Please do not worry if your collection is unsorted, mixed together or difficult to describe. Many projects begin with a box from the loft, an album from a cupboard, or a handful of photographs that someone has kept for years.

Helpful details

  • What you have — loose prints, albums, slides, negatives or a single photograph

  • Roughly how much there is, if you know

  • Whether anything is fragile, damaged or especially important

  • What you might like back — digital files, restoration, prints, framing or a story book

  • Where you are based

  • Any deadline, such as a birthday, memorial or family gathering

A photo helps

  • A quick phone photo of the box is fine

  • Photograph the album cover and a couple of example pages

  • For damaged photographs, send a clear image of the whole photo

  • For slides or negatives, photograph the packaging or strip if possible

You do not need to count every photograph before enquiring. A rough idea is enough, and we can help you work out the likely scale of the project.

If you can, please upload a quick photo of the box, album or photograph. It does not need to be perfect - a phone photo is usually enough to help us advise.
